New server – UK21 is now online

A new server, located in a London datacenter in the UK is now fully online and is accessible via the Identity Cloaker application as well as all standard VPN apps on all supported platforms.

New server – FI1 is now online

Tuesday, October 5th, 2021

A new server, located in a Helsinki datacenter in Finland is now fully online and is accessible via the Identity Cloaker application as well as all standard VPN apps on all supported platforms.

One detail you may notice in the Windows and OS X/Mac OS versions of Identity Cloaker is that the country shows as “Unknown” in the server location drop-down menu, even if the flag is displayed correctly. This bug has no effect on functionality and will be fixed in the next update.

 

New server – AU4 is now online

A new server, located in a Sydney datacenter in Australia is now fully online and is accessible via the Identity Cloaker application as well as all standard VPN apps on all supported platforms.

 

New server – UK20 is now online

A new server, located in a London datacenter in the UK is now fully online and is accessible via the Identity Cloaker application as well as all standard VPN apps on all supported platforms.

Based on our initial tests, the performance is extremely good. However, as always, if you experience any issues with it, please contact our helpdesk.

 

CH1 server back online and with more IP addresses

As for Today, the CH1 server is back online with all services available as before. However, it is now running on the newest version of OS and applications. The performance seems to be very good. However, if you experience any issues, do let us know.

As a “bonus”, more IP addresses are now available on the CH1 server.

Also, I would like to apologize it took us so long for the complete installation. There have been quite a few complications.

 

CH1 currently not available

Sunday, September 12th, 2021

The CH1 server has experienced a currently unspecified hardware failure and will have to be investigated by the datacenter staff. We believe the problem will be fixed in the next 24 hours but have no details about the issue yet.

UPDATE: Unfortunately, the server experienced a serious hardware fault and will need to be reinstalled completely. Due to current workload, it will take a few days before the server is functional again.

 

IE4 migration to a new platform

Wednesday, August 18th, 2021

The Irish IE4 server is currently being migrated to a new platform and location by the datacenter staff. For this reason, the server is not accessible at this time as reconfiguration will be necessary.

I apologize for the complications, the server should be back online in a few hours.

UPDATE: The newly configured server is back online, I apologize for the delay, there have been unexpected complications at the datacenter side.

New version of Identity Cloaker Portable for Windows

New version of the Identity Cloaker Portable app for Windows has been released. Please update your current version as the old version 1.3.0 will stop working in the next few days.

The update will be automatically offered when the old version is launched, and it is also available in the member area.

 

Connection issues for Mac users

Some of our Mac users reported issues with the Identity Cloaker application Today. If you experience connectivity issues, please contact our helpdesk ASAP.

We know about the problem and are working on it right now. I apologize for the complications.


UPDATE:
We have been able to identify the issue and find a solution. New version of Identity Cloaker for OS X/Mac OS is now available in the member area, or you may contact our helpdesk.

UPDATE 2: It seems the same issue is also affecting Amazon Firesticks and Amazon tablets running on old Android/Fire OS versions. We are already working on a new version that will fix this issue on these devices. The issue has been fixed.
