No updates for a while, I know…
It has been almost a full year since the last update was posted on the blog and I apologize for that. There will be a major website redesign soon and then we will proceed with more frequent blog updates.

I read a post on Official Blog that a beta version for MAC is available and if interested to contact grantpodelco through IdentityCloaker.com web site. It’s on Official Blog under Twitter Tweets on right side. I also read that that in January 2010 a version will be available for MAC intel users - could you share when exactly this might be as it is now 1-1-2010. This is so exciting! Please let me know if possible. Thank you!

Yes, for the time being there is an alternative beta version for Mac available. This version works together with Tunnelblick (native OpenVPN client for OS X). It is, however, not ideal. That’s why there is currently a completely different version being worked on.
This one will look very similarly to the Windows version and will also have very similar features. It should have been available already but the programmer experienced some unexpected complications. He is working on it as we speak and hopefully either today or tomorrow I will be able to test another development version.

I am also waiting for a Mac version that works. Beta or not, if it works, I will not switch to another service, but right now I really need it, so I will switch in the next few days if a version (beta, temporary or otherwise) cannot be made available.
Hope to hear some good news REALLY soon

Also, there is actually an alternative beta version already and there are other ways to make Identity Cloaker work on Mac even without the native OS X version. Contact us via the contact form and I will give you the instructions.

any further news on when we can expect the full release version for Mac??

Simon: The Mac beta development is going quite well but very slow too, unfortunately. The latest beta, however, looks very promising and is very close to the final release so I would not be afraid to use it. There are some features still missing and for example on PPC the encryption mode does not work, yet. But other than that, it’s quite stable on Leopard and Snow Leopard.
Today or tomorrow I will be speaking to the Mac programmer so I’ll have more information then.

hahaha it must be tiresome to have to tell all these people to contact you via the Contact Us form. If only people would read what was written before them…
Hope everything is coming along well, I’m looking forward to being able to use Pandora and whatnot on my Mac soon
Thanks, Alex.
